Some of the Best!

Some of the best concerts that I have ever been to are by far No Doubt, Green Day, Dashboard Confessional/Brand New, and Summer Jam '07. Want to know what was so great about them? ...

No Doubt- Gwen and the boys put on an AMAZING show. Gwen is able to perform and sing amazingly all at once, which is not common with a lot of artists. They had props on stage with them and kept the audience involved with their performance. They also sounded great.

Green Day- Green Day was fantastic! They involved the crowd more than any other band I have ever seen. They pulled people on stage, and sounded exactly like they do on the cd's.

Dashboard Confessional/Brand New- My personal favorite! I couldn't believe it when I heard they were touring together because they are two of my favorite bands, not to mention I got to take my best friend in the world with me! Brand New was decent, a little emo though. They sounded good but didn't play many old tracks. Much to my surprise, Dashboard did not perform "emo" at all, they involved the crowd (you can tell i'm big on this), sounded amazing, and were upbeat and happy even during their slower songs. They played a ton of songs, old and new. This concert was absolutely the most fun and best I have been to yet.

Summer Jam '07- This concert that my boyfriend took me to was much different than my usual scene. Most of the performers were absolutely amazing. A few from this show that stand out in my mind are Bow Wow, Ne-Yo, Fabalous, MIMS, and 50 Cent. This show was put together very well by Jamn 94.5 and was a great show.

The List <3

Since my first concert, I have been to about 25 more concerts, some of which I can't even remember. From what I can actually wrack from my brain, here is the list:
*NSYNC, Lenny Kravitz, Pink, No Doubt (twice), Creed, Blink 182, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, MxPx (who i met), Sugarcult, Simple Plan, Jersey, Dashboard Confessional, Brand New, The Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Taking Back Sunday, Armor for Sleep, Underoath, 311, Summer Jam '07.
I can guarantee that there is way more than this list that I have come up with. But for someone who has been to so many concerts, can you blame me for not remembering?

My first concert and the beginning of my addiction. ((*NSYNC))

When I was about 12 years old, my mom surprised me with tickets to see my favorite band ever.. *NSYNC. Yeah, we were in the nosebleed section and could barely see the stage; but obviously that didn't phase me in the least. It was my first concert and I was so excited I could barely breathe. Not to mention I was madly in love with Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass (I know.), so you can imagine my excitement to see them in real life- even if they were about the size of an ant from where I was sitting.
I can remember before the concert, listening to all of my favorite songs from all of the *NSYNC cd's that I had. And when we got there, I danced and sang the night away. It was such a good feeling, being surrounded with loud music that I enjoy and being able to go crazy and have so much fun with it, and not look like a complete loser for dancing in public. I loved being able to just enjoy the music and bask in my happiness.
This one concert was just the beginning of my crazy addiction to live music.
